Software for sorting analyses: the features at a glance

A sorting analysis produces many values in a short time: weights of containers and fractions, piece counts, characteristics and photos. SORQA records them where the sample is, on a phone or tablet in the hall. Every entry gets a time and a person, every photo ends up with the right record.

Back in the office there is nothing left to type up or merge. The overview always shows what is finished, and before the export the app checks whether anything is missing.

How you work with it

Simple enough for the hall

Big buttons, little text, every step at a glance. Designed sample views, without real customer data.

Weighing with photo, by hand or digitally

Gross, intermediate and tare weight in a fixed order, each with a photo and info bar. Unusual values (for example a missing decimal point) are queried before saving.

What this gives you: verifiable weights, even weeks later. A connected scale sends the weight straight into the field, without retyping. The connection is being trialled; further scales on request.

Animated sample view: the gross weight is typed in, a photo is saved, the intermediate weight comes from the scale.

Target and actual at a glance

Every order shows its status as a traffic light, every project its progress. A plausibility check warns when the total and net weight do not match.

What this gives you: management spots bottlenecks immediately and can react while there is still time.

Animated sample view: samples change from open to in progress to done; one reports a problem that gets solved.

Labels and QR codes from the app

You print labels and order sheets for samples, containers and fractions directly from the app. A scan with the phone opens the right entry immediately.

What this gives you: no searching through lists and no mixed-up containers, even with gloves on and in a crowded hall.

Animated sample view: a label sheet is printed, the phone scans a QR code and opens the right sample.

Export with completeness check

Before exporting, the app checks whether weighings, photos and counts are complete and shows what is still missing. Then an Excel file, with all photos if you like.

What this gives you: analysis and audit without rework, because gaps are noticed while the sample is still in the hall.

Animated sample view: the app checks all details before exporting, a gap is filled, then the Excel file is created.

Features

Everything a sorting analysis needs

Included as standard and ready to use.

Recording

Quantities, piece counts, characteristics and measured values via number pad, scale or dictation, every entry with time and person.

Checking characteristics

Count spot samples per fraction by characteristic class, with photo evidence. The app keeps count.

Logistics

Receipt, release and buffer storage per container, clearly organised.

Scheduling and costs

Shift plan, remaining effort and suggested plan. The costing learns from actual working time.

Works offline too

Entries are kept and sent as soon as the connection is back.

Projects and clients

Your own clients, your own selection per project, visibility only for selected people.

Notifications

Report problems on an order. Whoever is responsible gets the notification on their phone.

Data export

Excel file, with all photos if you like. The app checks beforehand whether anything is missing.

Frequently asked questions

Do we need special devices?

No. SORQA runs in the browser on phones, tablets and PCs. Labels are printed on label sheets with a normal office printer.

What happens if the network drops out in the hall?

Entries are kept on the device and sent as soon as the connection is back.

Can our scale be connected?

Connecting scales via the serial interface is being trialled. We clarify which scale fits in a conversation. Weights can always be entered by hand as well, with a photo of the display as evidence.
